Ms. Roberts Algebra 1
My goal is for all of my students to succeed in this class. This means that not only will all of you become master Algebraists, but you all will also learn what it means to work together and truly be a team. Hence why I will call all of you the A-Team!
Each of my successful team members may be recognized for their extraordinary heroism by being named "Class Hero of the Week"! This will be announced in class, on this site, and on Twitter!
Class Rules
In this class we are superheros! Which means that we:
Hand in our best work!
Enter the classroom prepared to learn.
Raise our hands to speak/leave our seats.
Obey school rules and follow directions.
Exit the classroom better than we found it.
Show respect to our teachers and peers.
Procedures
To be ready for this class it is important that all of you come to class prepared.
Participate by completing your Do Now/Exit Slips and class assignments.
There will always be homework, even if I haven't assigned anything to be turned in, there is always content that you may review on your own time (even if you take out 15-30 minutes of your spare time).
All homework and class assignments are expected to be completed on time. Any work not turned in on time will result in -10 points for each day it is late. If you have an excused absense you have the alotted time given by the school to make up your work for full credit.
To make up missed tests or quizzes see me to set up a time.
After school tutoring is available for extra help Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, however if those days do not work for you please see me.

90 - 100 A
80 - 89 B
70 - 79 C
60 - 69 D
0 - 59 F
